Concord Flying Club
|
|
The Concord Flying Club is located on the east ramp of
Buchanan Field (CCR) in Concord, California. It was established as
a non-profit corporation in 1939 to provide its members with the
use of safe aircraft at economical rates, to foster safe practices,
and provide educational and social benefits. All members share
equally in ownership of the Club. Well-maintained aircraft suit
most missions.

Benefits of Membership
|
- Affordability. Because CFC is a non-profit club, only actual
operating costs are billed to your account when you fly. Naturally,
sharing costs among the membership takes the bite out of fixed
expenses.
- Aircraft quality. CFC prides itself in clean,
well-maintained aircraft.
- Availability. We have 2 airplanes among 30 pilots,
so at least one of those aircraft is usually available on the spur
of the moment - even on VFR weekends! We use a web-based reservation system that
enables you to check the schedule and make reservations from anywhere.
- Cure the rental blues. No need to sign up months in advance
to take an airplane on an extended trip; no penalty for last minute
cancellations.
- Complex / High-Performance / Instrument training. We have
multiple flight instructors, making it easy for members to improve
their skills.
